Monster Trucks!

Last night we took LJ to the civic center to watch the Monster Trucks. It was loud, but we were prepared with ear protection. He wasn't sure what to think at first and was a little scared. I couldn't help but giggle, because he'd grab me or Joe and hug tight! He never cried, but was very unsure. He loosened up a little ways into the show and enjoyed it. He especially liked the motocross bike tricks!

I have tons of pics I want to share, so I'm going to make them into a slideshow.

Busy Saturday

Well, I'm finally doing it. I've waited long enough and I'm finally biting the bullet. What am I doing?

Painting LJ's room! I found the perfect color blue and had it mixed up. I've finished one wall and I'm waiting on it to dry to do a 2nd coat. Then I will continue around the room until I'm finished. I probably won't finish it all today. I've got to find a stepstool or ladder to get to the other side of the room. The ceiling gets higher on that side. I'll have to post pics when I'm finished. I'm very excited. With a few of my touches, this house will feel like our home.

Diaper Cake for Mom To Be

I worked on this last night and I still have some finishing touches but this is the basic design of it. I love making these. They're so much fun!

When Daddy doesn't pay attention

To the guard on the clippers that is. My poor baby's hair is gone! It's as short as it can possibly be without having been shaved with a razor. I don't like it and I pray it grows fast. I wanted it buzzed, but not quite that much. Joe's excuse? "Weeeeeellll, I THOUGHT it was the same setting I used last time" (with question in his voice) LOL

LJ keeps rubbing his head and saying GONE.

Preparing for Christmas

No, not for christmas gifts, but for the Christmas Festival in town. I've decided I'm giving craft shows a second chance. This time instead of devoting most of my time to clothing, I'll be offering more bows and accessories. I've come across a few really great bow making devices and it's making them much better than I was before. I've already started making my stock.

I've got a few testers that I'll be needing for pacifier clips. I'm trying out a different method and need to know how they'll hold up to wear and tear. So, please feel free to comment here on email me at avdesigns4u@yahoo.com if you're interested in testing. The fee for a tester will be based on supply cost and shipping and nothing more. I will get an exact cost very soon for you but it won't be more than $5 (included shipping). Probably closer to $3 though.

I'll have to add some pics later of the different bows I'm making. Of course, I'll take orders until then if you have special requests. And spread the word! Please.

Good Morning

Just thought I'd say good morning with cute YouTube video. My little sister showed me this video a while back and I love it. I have musical Annie Get Your Gun and I plan to watch it today. I rented it after seeing this video.
