Getting ready for the show

It's been a very productive weekend! I've accomplished a lot. Of course, the house was a bit neglected but that's okay. I have Master's week off so I'll devote some time to decluttering then.

I'm working on items for the Mayfest and I got some Cliparoos, hairbows and boo boo packs finished up this weekend. I also made my bow display and figured out my packaging for my burps. Professional looking huh? I'm proud. It's time consuming but I'm really looking forward to the exposure of the show. Gotta get my check in the mail tomorrow for the booth entry!

I'll have to come back to post pics. I'm too lazy right now.

Neglected

Yep, neglected. Time...where did it go? Work has been crazy busy (not always a bad thing as most days seem to fly on by) and life at home has been steady too.

I'm typing this from work on a Wednesday afternoon. Why you ask? Isn't the office closed? Yep, but my wallet declares that it's not getting it's fill and I must provide more. So, here I sit waiting for the phone to ring so I have something to do. It's actually kind of relaxing. I'm at work and working and getting paid, but it's not the hustle and bustle like it is with patients here. It'll at least make my wallet less angry at me. :)

We had a bad storm come through this past Saturday and of course Comcast (lacking as it always does) took a full 24 hours to restore service. It gave me the chance to sew LJ and Trinity's easter church clothes. Alyssa's is started and I will be completing it tonight. I'm so proud of myself for doing it. LJs and Trini's were finished within a couple hours. Alyssa's is a bit more detailed.

We found a church we really like. It's right up the road from our house. The girls and I went 2 Sundays ago and we actually walked because it was a nice morning. LJ and I went last Sunday because the girls were gone to their dad's. He was a mess. He yelled YAY and clapped after singing the first hymn and he was contantly saying BUG and pointing to the ladybugs. Everyone seemed to enjoy him being there. of course we got the many "He has beautiful blue eyes" Makes me proud since it's the ONLY thing I contributed to his DNA. hehe There are less than 20 people that attend the church and I instantly felt very welcomed. I'm so glad!

Well, I really should do SOME work while I'm here. Off to find something to do.
